Speculative Application, LBI for Arthritis and Rehabilitation
The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Arthritis and Rehabilitation (LBI AR) investigates underlying mechanisms, and consequences of musculoskeletal diseases, with a particular focus on osteoarthritis (OA), pain, and rehabilitation. Our mission is to advance the health and quality of life of people affected by OA and other musculoskeletal conditions through outstanding research.
Our scientific research covers the full spectrum from molecular and cellular basic science through translational research to clinical and patient-oriented outcomes research. By closely integrating these areas, we generate new insights into disease mechanisms and develop innovative approaches for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
The LBI AR offers motivated students and early-career researchers (BSc, MSc, PhD) the opportunity to become part of an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented research environment.
