What you can achieve with us

The project focuses on developing advanced 3D-printed scaffold structures that replicate the structure and function of muscle tissue. Our team investigates the behavior of these lab-engineered muscle scaffolds in biological injury models and evaluates regenerative effects through the combined use of cell therapy, extracellular vesicles (EVs), and biophysical stimulation methods such as shockwave therapy.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to strengthen our team in the areas of Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Regenerative Medicine, or related disciplines. The position offers excellent opportunities for scientific development in a dynamic environment with close collaboration between academic and industrial partners.

What you bring to the role

  • Completed Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Regenerative Medicine, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with preclinical animal models, preferably in muscle or soft tissue research.
  • Basic knowledge of cell culture techniques, microscopy, and proteomics/genomics is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, independent working style, and experience in interdisciplinary research environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong scientific curiosity, and social competence for collaboration in a transdisciplinary project.

What you can expect from us

  • Work-life balance through individual teleworking agreements, working time models, and professional parental leave management.
  • Counseling services for you and your family on issues of physical and mental health.
  • Team events such as team days, business runs, and Christmas parties that promote personal exchange and strengthen cohesion.
A gross monthly salary starting at EUR 3.753 (full-time/all-in). Depending on qualifications and experience, a higher salary is possible.
